About me

I‘m Markus Siemens – software developer by trade, electrical engineer by degree and always curious by nature. I enjoy diving into projects that challenge me beyond my comfort zone and love exploring and learning about everything behind the technology curtain. Besides programming I enjoy reading a lot and writing all kinds of stuff.

I am a strong supporter of Open Source and am the creator and developer of TinyDB, a small embedded NoSQL database written in Python. I also author other Open Source projects at GitHub.
